About

Hi! I'm Jacob.

I'm a high school student at Alpharetta High School interested in sustainable research. I'm currently interning at the SEEEL Lab at Georgia Tech and run Fresh Flow Aquaponics.

Scroll down to check out some of my favorite hobbies!

Soccer

I’ve played competitive soccer since I was six, steadily climbing the ranks of youth soccer in Georgia. I started from Classic 1 and have worked up to ECNL-RL. I spent most of my years playing club soccer for Alpharetta Ambush, and this past year, I’ve been competing with Concorde Fire. Over the years, I’ve captained both my club and high school teams, leading them to national level tournaments and playoffs, respectively. I'm heading into my final high school season this spring and hope to make this season memorable for both the program and my teammates. Soccer has always been more than just a game to me; it’s a creative outlet and a way to express myself with my feet instead of my words.

Baking

When I’m bored or stressed, I turn to baking. I love experimenting with recipes I find online and am always up for trying something new (Shoutout Sally's Baking Addiction!). My go-tos are Levain-style chocolate chip cookies and banana bread muffins. Baking feels like a second language to me—it’s how I show care for others. Whether it be baking for my family or friends, there’s nothing more wholesome than seeing someone smile while enjoying something I’ve made. Here are some of the sweet treats (and in progress sweet treats) I've made over the years!
